Do you use a sales funnel for your agency?

It is so easy to overlook doing for ourselves that which we encourage our clients to do.

Have a sales funnel.

Years ago I was interviewing some of my friends who were top salespeople. I asked them what was the single most impactful thing they did to close sales. Several of them said, having a sales funnel.

The most successful of my friends was making over $750,000 a year in commissions said it was having a complete sales funnel.

While most people had 4 or 5 steps in their sales funnel he had 11 steps.

He kept testing it, improving it, changing the sequence in his sales funnel.

He discovered that if he left out even one step the sale would likely not close.

Having a sales funnel that systematically moves people along in the sales process will double or triple your sales.

I helped one agency grow over 300% by creating a sales funnel then testing and improving each step in the funnel.

It’s important not to fall into the trap of “this is how we’ve always done it.”
